Season 3

We had to get here sooner or later. This is the first season of the show that I feel was more miss than hit. The Doctor continues his adventuring unimpeded, but circumstances beyond his control change up his companions very quickly, especially when they start to die. The season is overshadowed by an ambitious, thirteen-episode epic serial that only turns out to be half decent and half-baked. I’m going to blame a new producer who couldn’t quite measure up to the first, resulting in a show that needs a shake-up to keep things fresh.
